Elise Ferrer is a photographer and anthropologist based in Washington, DC. She photographs a wide spectrum of subjects and clients, including restaurants, small businesses, events, products, and photojournalistic / visual anthropology projects. Her work centers storytelling, documentary photography, and connection.

Working in both digital and film, Elise’s photographing style is rooted in storytelling, and she deploys a range of techniques in order to best convey a brand, business, or individual’s story. With over 7 years of professional photography experience, Elise is skilled in working in a variety of environments - low or bright lighting, different editing styles, fast or slow-paced photographing - and is adaptive and flexible to the needs of particular projects.
