Helen is a contemporary Southern restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama. Despite opening during one of the hardest years for restaurants (2020), Rob and Emily McDaniel have already seen incredible success with their restaurant. Not only has the restaurant become a date-night or celebration favorite for locals, but it has received regional and national praise. In 2021, Esquire named Helen one of the best new restaurants in America, and the restaurant has received media spots from the Atlanta Magazine, Southern Living, and Garden & Gun. In addition to cooking delicious, nostalgic Southern plates, they’ve earned renown from their incredible bar program. Their incredible bar managers are constantly creating new and inspired cocktails.
